On
May 8,
2006 at approximately 5:00 p.m. EDT, Mr. Bruce D. Smith, VP - Investor Relations
and Strategic Development of Answers Corporation (the “Company”)
hosted, together with other members of management, the Company’s first quarter
2006 earnings conference call (the “Earnings Call”).
During
the Earnings Call, as part of the question and answers session, Mr. Smith
responded to a participant’s question relating to the Company’s monetization
rates, or RPMs. In his response, Mr. Smith indicated that the figure of $4.67
RPM in Q1 2006 was an average
for the
entire quarter, and that the RPMs in March were actually much higher than $4.67.
Further, Mr. Smith explained that current RPMs are actually “running north of
$5.00”.
