Item 8.01 Other Events.
On September 19, 2016, Sarepta Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that the United States Food and Drug Administration has provided accelerated approval of Exondys 51TM (eteplirsen) Injection for the treatment of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy amenable to skipping of exon 51. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
