Item 8.01 Other Events.
On December 13, 2006, Technical Olympic USA, Inc. ("TOUSA") issued a press release announcing that a class action lawsuit has been filed against it in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida on behalf of purchasers of TOUSA's common stock during the period between August 1, 2005 and November 6, 2006. The complaint alleges that TOUSA and certain of its executive officers violated the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended. TOUSA believes the action is without merit and intends to vigorously defend the lawsuit.
