Traffic grew by 3.7 percent year over year, while capacity increased only slightly. Domestic traffic grew by 2.1 percent year over year on 1.9 percent less capacity. International traffic increased by 6.9 percent relative to last year on a capacity increase of 4.6 percent. American boarded 8.6 million passengers in May.
