On June 30, 2010, IDEX Corporation (the “Company”) filed a Current Report on Form 8-K under Item
5.02 disclosing that Ernest J. Mrozek was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Company (the
“Board”), effective July 1, 2010. At the time of that filing, the Board had not yet determined the
committees on which Mr. Mrozek would serve.
The Company is filing this Current Report on Form 8-K/A to disclose that, on September 27, 2010,
the Board appointed Mr. Mrozek to its Audit Committee.
