Item 8.01     Other Events

     On May 17, 2007, Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. (NYSE: ELS) announced that Michael B. Berman, ELS’ Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will participate in the residential panel at the BMO North American REIT Conference on Friday, May 18, 2007 at 11:15 a.m. Central Time.

     The live panel discussion will be webcast at www.bmocm.com/conferences/2007reit/webcast/. This will be a listen only broadcast. An archive of the webcast will be available for the period of six months after the conference.
