Community and Philanthropy: Hugh D. Fuller Gives Back

BOCA RATON, FL / ACCESSWIRE / July 1, 2021 / National Champion offshore powerboat racer, family man, and Alabama native, Hugh D. Fuller Jr. not only has a distinguished racing career under his belt, but also a deep passion for giving back. It is not out on the water, but rather within his community, where Fuller truly finds his purpose. Throughout the past few decades, Hugh D. Fuller has supported missionaries, local charities, and individuals who are in need.

"Giving back has consistently been a priority of mine, and I have always wanted to make a positive impact where I can in my community," says Hugh D. Fuller.

Providing for Missionaries

Supporting missionaries is important to Hugh D. Fuller. In fact, he has devoted countless hours, energy, and funding out of his own pocket to help support missionaries across the world. Examples include providing housing and utilities to struggling missionaries and their families at no cost.

"I have been awarded a lot of fortune in my life," says Hugh D. Fuller. "I have always wanted to be able to give back to the community that shaped who I am today. Now, I am fortunate enough to be in a position to help those who need it most."

It is this kind of attitude that has changed people's lives forever. Upon relocating to Clearwater, Florida, Hugh D. Fuller made a connection with minister Jim Black, who he helped support, along with countless others in the area. Without Hugh, Black and many others would not be in the position they are in today.

"Over and over again, [Hugh] made it possible for those in need to have a place to live and help with their life's needs," says Black.

Supporting Local Charities

Aside from his commitment to supporting missionaries, Hugh D. Fuller is an avid believer in helping those in even greater need. For more than 14 years, Hugh D. Fuller has consistently been a pillar in his community, giving greatly needed support to local charities that feed the homeless five days a week with two meals a day.

No matter how far he's come in his career, Fuller's charitable priorities and commitments have never shifted.

"I can't expect to be a great man out on the water if I'm not a great individual in my community," says Hugh D. Fuller.

Giving Back to Individuals

No picture of Hugh D. Fuller is complete without a look at his role as a successful yet humble business owner. Fuller is a rare find in this role. Providing his employees with no-strings-attached monetary relief for unexpected family incidents, illnesses, college payments, among others - is an action on his part that is more common than rare.

For Hugh D. Fuller, the real measure of success comes from being able to positively impact those around him. This includes the devoted care to his 92-year-old mother who suffers from dementia, the respect and care which he shows his employees, and his tireless commitment to bettering his community. Fuller is always looking for ways that he can support his community and uplift those around him.
