Dr. Kevin Sattele Announces 19th Annual Holiday Food Drive for The Manna House in Florence SC

South Carolina doctor, Dr. Kevin Sattele, announces 19th annual holiday food drive in support of The Manna House of Florence, SC.

Kevin Sattele, M.D., a South Carolina physician with over 20 years of experience, is proud to announce the 19th annual holiday food drive at Dr. Sattele's Centers in South Carolina in support of The Manna House of Florence, SC. The Manna House is a non-profit organization that provides food assistance and support to help the homeless and those in need move towards independence and stability.

"We are continuing our long-standing tradition of giving back to the community with the help of our friends at The Manna House," said Dr. Sattele. This year's 19th annual holiday food drive will collect non-perishable food items to support their important work serving the less fortunate.

This year's Thanksgiving food drive will run until November 22nd, 2024. Donors who contribute 6 or more non-perishable items will receive special offers for new patients as well as discounts for HCG and Anti-Wrinkle services.

"During a time when many are celebrating and enjoying abundant food, we want to make a real difference for those who are struggling," added Dr. Sattele. "The Manna House does invaluable work, and we're proud to support their mission through this annual initiative."

The Manna House has been serving the Florence community for over 20 years. What started as a small soup kitchen has grown into a multi-faceted organization providing comprehensive services to those in need. In addition to daily meals, they offer emergency shelter, transitional housing, job training, and financial literacy programs to help clients achieve long-term stability.

Year to date, the Manna House has served 42,000 individual meals and assisted 1,000 households move towards self-sufficiency through its food pantry. The organization relies heavily on community support and donations to fund its operations. Dr. Sattele's annual food drive is a proud contributor to this cause providing food donations, a critical source of sustenance for families in Florence South Carolina.

"The Manna House plays a vital role in supporting Florence's most vulnerable populations," said Dr. Sattele. "Hunger and homelessness are pervasive issues, even in our own backyard. We have a responsibility to do what we can to help our neighbors in need, and I'm honored to partner with this incredible organization."

This year's food drive aims to surpass the previous year's totals, providing a much-needed boost to the Manna House's supplies heading into the holiday season. Clients often face an especially difficult time during the holidays when resources tend to be stretched thin.

In addition to the food drive, Dr. Sattele's medical practice is offering special promotions to further incentivize community participation. Donors who contribute 6 or more non-perishable items will receive a free B12/Lipotropic "fat-burning” injection. These shots are designed to boost energy levels and accelerate fat burning, making them a popular choice among patients looking to shed a few extra pounds.

Donors will also be eligible for new patient and returning patient discounts on many services including HCG, or human chorionic gonadotropin, a hormone-based weight control therapy that can help suppress appetite and mobilize fat stores.

Finally, all donors interested in shedding a few pounds can join with a friend or family member and save $50. Dr. Sattele’s programs include an assessment of patient's goals and health profile which helps us create a personalized treatment plan leveraging a variety of non-surgical, science-backed approaches.

"The holiday season is a time of indulgence for many, which can take a toll on our waistlines and overall well being," explained Dr. Sattele. "By offering these special promotions, we hope to not only support the Manna House's crucial work, but also inspire our community to prioritize their health and wellness."
