Signet Jewelers Ltd. (NYSE: SIG) fell to a greater than expected loss for the third quarter of 20 cents per share compared with earnings of 20 cents per share in the year ago period and lowered its forecast. Shares of the retailer plummeted $23.05 to close at $52.79.
