How to Get Your Dream Home With Expert New Construction Broker & CEO of Q Homes, Lily Quan

CARLSBAD, CA / ACCESSWIRE / January 22, 2021 / If you could build your dream home on a lot of your choice in the neighborhood of your choosing with a modern, open floor plan and interior design fit to your lifestyle theme, would you do it? With new home construction brokers, Q Homes leading the way, it is 100% possible.

In 2019, husband and wife duo Lily and Kingsley Quan pivoted and opened Q Homes' doors, a full-service boutique brokerage firm in Carlsbad, California. Previously, they were both working as consultants until they decided it was time to bet on themselves and go into being entrepreneurs full-time.

"We cut ourselves off completely from the consultant jobs that were consuming our time and focus, leading to a scary and insecure period of time. When COVID-19 hit, we remained alert, stayed in operation, establishing best practices, while moving our ship forward cautiously. Luckily for us, things aligned themselves during these confusing times as we were still essential. We were beacons for clients and it felt like a bull market for the residential sector that we served in 2020, " explains Q Homes CEO, Lily Quan.

Although many industries and businesses have been affected by COVID-19, Q Homes clients and the businesses they work with continued to increase their investments in real estate. That is something Lily is genuinely grateful for.

"I feel reluctant saying that 2020 was a good year in any way, shape, or form, but real estate, in general, did well. I'm lucky to be part of an industry that lobbied for the brokers and agents, making us essential," Lily explains.

Even though Lily Quan has seen tremendous success this year as a broker, a mother of identical twin boys, and a wife, she hasn't always been in this position.

"Having grown up in different locations around the world (Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Chile), real estate always had a major role in my life. My dad has been in residential and commercial real estate since I was born. I would see him develop luxury estates from an empty lot. That allowed me to see feasibility and doability at an early age. Seeing full circle cycles of construction is interesting and empowering. He knew to lock down real estate for prosperity, and I'm lucky that it's always been part of Q Homes' growth mentality. We guide our clients with aptitude and ability to grow their portfolio and help them realize their dreams."

Since 2003, Lily has lived and been part of the sellers team on numerous master-plan communities in coastal Carlsbad, Irvine, and major cities in and around the Bay Area. Lily is an expert at master-planned communities, including micro-markets like downtown San Diego high-rises, multifamily & mixed used developments in the Bay Area and single family residences in coastal Carlsbad.

Kingsley's expertise and strength includes project management for private clients, real estate financing, and portfolio management and has also been in this space since 2005. Their partnership is essential in so many ways and dinner table talks often involve shop talk and solving client's woes. Their connectivity in business and personal life brings a perspective that is necessary and a welcome balance point in running a brokerage in 2021.

After being on the seller side majority of her career working for either privately held developers or publicly traded homebuilders, Lily can provide a unique perspective for New Construction buyers.

"I feel that my multicultural upbringing, career background of 17 years and insight from having closed over $680 million of real estate keeps me open-minded, agile, and very understanding of people's situations. I pride myself on solving problems for my clients. When I talk to people and hear their pain points due to their cultural upbringing, physical location, or lifestyle, my innate strength is turning those three elements into a solution, in a property or investment, that's best for them."

Another critical detail to note about Q Homes is their commitment to nature and remaining paperless.

"We insist and demand digital copies from all teams we work with. For example, one of my clients was buying new construction in San Diego while living in Hong Kong. They did everything from their laptop and Ipad. The only thing we couldn't do was the notary, and that's because the Hong Kong U.S. consulate was closed due to the Island's political unrest. We took care of all business aspects via Docusign, Facetime, WhatsApp or WeChat. There is a ton of trust involved in buying properties site unseen. That's a testament to how a tech-savvy person can still acquire properties no matter where they are currently located."

Lily speaks Mandarin and can serve the Chinese community interested in new homes and multifamily properties. When consulting for the Irvine Company, the majority of her clientele were Chinese buyers that valued & sought-out new construction and valued a well planned master-community.

"We study local, nearby areas, providing home-buyers and sellers with professional, responsive, and attentive real estate services."

Q Homes is taking on new clients in 2021. New construction homes offer you more than just a new place to call ‘home' and they help you find your community, your village, your comfort zone. Contact Lily & Kingsley or visit their website to learn more.
