Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On April 17, 2007 Whitestone REIT, formerly known as Hartman Commercial Properties REIT, issued a press release announcing the declaration of its first quarter dividend of $0.15 per share. The dividend is payable in three payments of $0.05 per share, with the first payment having been made on April 5, 2007. The remaining two dividend payments will be made on or about May 1, and June 1, 2007.

A copy of the press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 to the Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
