On December 6, 2007, Joseph Natoli was elected to the Board of Directors of Perry Ellis International, Inc. (the “Company”), increasing the size of the Company’s Board of Directors from nine to ten directors. Mr. Natoli will serve on the Audit Committee.

A copy of the press release announcing the election of Mr. Natoli is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated herein.
