The New York Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA-NY) proudly unveils its 2024 Board of Directors, ushering in a new era of leadership and innovation in communications.
Matt Rizzetta, Founder and Chairman of North Sixth Group, a distinguished entrepreneur and visionary in the field, is leading the charge as president. Rizzetta's tenure promises to carry forward the rich heritage of PRSA-NY while adding a vision to engage the future generation of communications professionals. Rizzetta succeeds Carmella Glover, who will continue to serve on the 2024 Board as the immediate past president. Joining him on the Executive Committee as president-elect is Ken Kerrigan, APR, senior vice president at The Bliss Group.
Upon assuming the presidency of PRSA-NY, Rizzetta reflected, "I am honored to join the ranks of the many previous PRSA-NY presidents who have made an indelible mark on the communications industry. This is a transformational moment for our profession, marked by rapid changes in technology, access to data and the adoption of AI. As we look toward the future of PRSA-NY, our focus will be on innovating in these areas while continuing to foster a community of collaboration that has always made PRSA-NY a special place for its members, corporate partners and the communications profession as a whole."
Added Kerrigan, “The New York Chapter of PRSA played an integral role in establishing my career in public relations – from engaging with me as a student and PRSSA president at New York University to introducing me to best practices and platforms for award-winning work as a professional. It’s an honor to help ensure that the chapter continues to have that impact both for our existing members who are professionals across the city and the next generation that will build their careers in New York.”
The 2023 Nominating Committee, chaired by Aaron Kwittken, PRSA-NY immediate past president, Chief Executive Officer of PRophet, and Chief Executive Officer of the Comms Tech Unit at Stagwell Marketing Cloud was responsible for selecting the chapter’s 2024 Board of Directors.
PRSA-NY’s mission is to lead, educate, mentor, and inspire public relations and communications professionals to advance their knowledge, skills, and careers. The 2024 Board of Directors embodies this mission and will continue to elevate it across chapter programs, events, and initiatives.
