Bridgewater, New Jersey - Bridgeway Senior Healthcare is celebrating the opening of the new addition at its Avalon at Hillsborough assisted living residence in Hillsborough, New Jersey. With the completion of the new addition, Memory Care at the community has doubled its capacity, adding significant common space and an outdoor terrace, private dining room and lounge. The assisted living residence has expanded to include luxurious one- and two-bedroom apartments, spacious sitting areas, bistro, and a large state-of-the art therapy gym – all beautifully appointed in a warm and inviting, yet functional way.
An entire floor is devoted to its Generations Village and will help the community meet the ever growing demand for memory care services. According to the Alzheimer’s Association: “6.7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease. By 2050, this number is projected to rise to nearly 13 million.”
