London Chessboxing 36 Clash of Kings

LCB 36: Clash of Kings on July 26 Will Be the First-Ever International Chessboxing PPV

London, Jul 14, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - London Chessboxing is proud to announce that on July 26, 2020 at 18:00 BST (13:00 ET), history will be made:  The first-ever live Chessboxing pay-per-view will be available for purchase by audiences all over the world.

LCB 36: CLASH OF KINGS, presented in association with Protocol Sports Marketing, promises to excite and entertain sports fans all over the world.  The event will be available in all countries via internet streaming PPV for the low price of £6.99 GBP (approximately $8.75 USD); priced to please existing fans and introduce new viewers to this world-class emerging sport.

Chessboxing is a wild mix of two of mankind's oldest sporting obsessions. Opponents slug it out on the chessboard and in the ring, in alternating rounds of speed chess and boxing until there is a winner by checkmate or KO, whichever comes first.  It is a fast-rising sport.  The ultimate battle of brains versus brawn.

Typically organized in front of legions of hardcore fans in the UK, London Chessboxing events are exciting, entertaining and explosive.  Unfortunately, with Covid-19 social distancing in place, chessboxing fans cannot attend this 36th event being produced by London Chessboxing.  And so, the decision was made to offer an historic first-ever worldwide PPV to chessboxing and sports fans worldwide.

Headlining CLASH OF KINGS:

WCBA British Light Heavyweight Title:  Daniel "The Tax Man" Mayfield collides with Richard "Razor" Frazer ... two fierce rivals who have been verbally jousting online now take their beef into the ring.

Two co-featured matches - Matt "Crazy Arms" Read versus Shayan "Shah" Zarein Dolab and Gearoid "Sex Appeal" Veale versus Jon "Brick Wood" - are rematches long in the making.  Scores will be settledKings will fall.

Opening the evening's festivities will be Gerard "Ripper" Reilly versus Brian "No Slack" Mak.  One victor will emerge.  Will it be by brain or by hand?
