Lombardi Pledges Investigation Into Facebook, Twitter, Google and Amazon

Says It Is Obvious Big Tech Has Been Using Its Algorithms To Silence Conservatives

MANHATTAN, IL, May 03, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jack Lombardi, running for the Republican nomination for Illinois' 14th Congressional District pledged that once elected to Congress he would spearhead an investigation into Google, Twitter, Facebook, and Amazon on how they have been using their algorithms to silence conservative voices. Lombardi pointed out to the recent changes in Twitter's algorithm since it was announced that Elon Musk was purchasing the company. Lombardi is not alone in noticing the change, other conservatives have seen the same with their followers suddenly increasing dramatically. He also pointed to Twitter's block of the New York Post's story on Hunter Biden's laptop prior to the election which Twitter claimed was a false story but has been proven to be true. Lombardi also mentioned Twitter's biased way of banning conservative users like the former President Donald J. Trump and the parody site, Babylon Bee while allowing such individuals as Vladimir Putin, China's President Xi, and Iran's Ayatollah Khamenei to use Twitter to spread their propaganda and hate filled lies. Twitter is not alone in this manipulation, Facebook, Amazon, and Google have pursued similar patterns Lombardi noted. Big Tech may have violated anti-trust laws in their actions. It is obvious he said that at the very least they have been providing an in kind contribution to Democrats with their algorithms silencing conservative voices. Add to this, the Biden's Administration establishing its Disinformation Governance Board and you have the potential of the left silencing all opposing viewpoints.

"Social media was supposed to be America's online townhall for debate, but progressives used it as a tool to advance the Democratic agenda and silence conservative voices," said Jack Lombardi. "Once elected I will lead a full forensic investigation into the algorithms used by Google, Facebook, Amazon, and Twitter to determine how they manipulated the American people and to see what laws they broke.

"Ronald Reagan famously said freedom was only one generation away from extinction," concluded Lombardi. "If we do not hold Big Tech accountable and prosecute wrongdoing, they and the Biden Administration will extinguish freedom and the right to dissent for all time."
