The high-profile faith-based film ‘The Firing Squad' is under attack from intolerant people on social media who have expressed hatred for anything that mentions Jesus.

Cuba Gooding Jr - one of the stars - has also been under attack.

LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / June 18, 2024 / Cuba has talked about how he recommitted his life to Christ on the set of ‘The Firing Squad'. Since then, the attacks on Cuba's faith in Christ had been stark on social media.

"Those attacking Cuba's faith know not what they're doing," says Chey. "We've all sinned. In fact, I was a worse sinner than Cuba before I came to Christ. The Apostle Paul helped with the murder of Christians before he found Christ as well.

Based on the true story of three Christians who face execution in a third world country, the film has been viciously attacked by the intolerant on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

"There's an even harsher attack than usual," says Director Tim Chey. "It's not light-hearted banter at all."

Chey is a former atheist who is also a Harvard alumnus.

"I use to be an atheist so I understand and have nothing against atheists," he continues. "But my love for Jesus should not be the subject of non-stop slander and ridicule as we live in an educated, free, egalitarian society. If you're truly liberal, you're open-minded to anyone's faith and open-minded to God's existence."

The attacks have included calling for Christians and Catholics to be executed by firing squad; abolishing churches in the U.S.; and attacks on Cuba Gooding Jr's new-found faith in God.

Attacks on Kevin Sorbo's Faith in God

Social media has gone rampant on Sorbo's faith in God and his conservative values.

"Kevin is a true American hero," says Chey. "What's wrong with a guy who stands up for his faith, America, moral integrity, protecting our communities, and being anti-communist?"

Attacks from the CCP

The attacks may also be coming from the ultimate atheist group which is the Chinese Communist Party. They've purportedly been increasing as ‘The Firing Squad' is touring the U.S. and is releasing into 2,000 theaters nationwide starting August 2, 2024.

"The communists - regardless if they're from China or America - don't want America to return to Christ," says Chey. "They want our country to self-destruct and relish at all the college riots, mass shootings, police officers killed, looting in stores as more people will turn to communism - not to God."

During an important screening of ‘The Firing Squad' at a church, The Epoch Times was hit with a massive hacker attack on their servers.

There is evidence that it came from China which has attacked The Epoch Times many times before although not at this frequency. They've also influenced social media to ban Epoch Times for doing nothing other than standing for freedom of religion, liberty, and America.

No Fear of God

Chey believes there is no fear of God in America and this is main reason for this rash of violence, homelessness, rioting, mass shootings, road rage, etc. "There is no fear of God," says Chey. "I guarantee you the one thing all of these mass shooters have in common is they don't know Jesus."

Chey's solution? "We can't make America great again without God."

‘The Firing Squad' opens nationwide starting August, 2, 2024.

The film wants to win 1 million souls to Christ.
