Flock Freight Joins World Economic Forum’s Global Innovators Community

The World Economic Forum invited Flock Freight, an innovator in the freight industry, to join the Global Innovators Community, a group of the world’s most promising companies at the forefront of technology and innovation. This invitation builds on Flock’s mission to create a smarter, more sustainable supply chain by using their patented technology to pool freight from multiple customers at scale.

“We are honored to join the World Economic Forum's Global Innovators Community alongside peers who are committed to building their companies in a way that minimizes harm to the environment,” said Oren Zaslansky, CEO and Founder of Flock Freight. “At a time when the economy is struggling and carbon emissions are rising, the Flock model has demonstrated that you can do well while doing good, and we are thrilled to be amongst like-minded companies solving global challenges.”

Flock Freight is addressing freight's biggest weakness by guaranteeing a terminal-free shared truckload option, FlockDirect™, which eliminates the hassles of the hub-and-spoke model. Flock’s patented technology matches locations, schedules, and compatible shipments, finding the best options to pool freight. By addressing pain points felt across the industry, Flock is transforming the supply chain and inventory process by consolidating in transit, rather than relying on terminal consolidation points, which increases the chances of damage, delay, and loss.

“The World Economic Forum is pleased to have Flock Freight join our Global Innovators community,” says Verena Kuhn, Head of the Global Innovators Community, World Economic Forum. “Including new, innovative voices is essential in the work we do at the Forum, we look forward to what Flock Freight’s expertise will add to our projects, dialogues and platforms.”

Flock’s invitation to join the World Economic Forum’s Global Innovators Community follows several recent announcements around the company’s efforts to accelerate industry-wide investments to optimize the supply chain with the most sustainable solution in an industry long overdue for innovation.
