Energy Vault Appoints Bernie Colson, CFA as Vice President of Investor Relations

Colson brings over two decades of experience in the energy capital markets on both the buy and sell-side

Energy Vault Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: NRGV) (“Energy Vault” or the “Company”), a leader in sustainable grid-scale energy storage solutions, announced the appointment of Bernie Colson, CFA as Vice President of Investor Relations. With over two decades of experience in the energy capital markets, Mr. Colson joins Energy Vault as a seasoned energy professional to steer the company's financial communication strategy as well as maintain and expand relationships with the investor and analyst communities.

Prior to joining Energy Vault, Mr. Colson held various key positions in the energy sector. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President for Corporate Development, Sustainability, and Investor Relations at Flotek Industries in Houston, TX. Before his role at Flotek, he was a Global Equity Analyst and Energy Team Lead at Ivy Investments in Kansas City. Prior to that, Mr. Colson served as Vice President of Investments at Clean Focus Yield, a solar asset holding company based in Sunnyvale, CA. Earlier in his career, he served as Managing Director and team leader of energy infrastructure research at Oppenheimer and held various energy investment-focused roles at Tortoise Capital Advisors, Waddell & Reed, and Citigroup Asset Management.

Mr. Colson is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) since 2002, currently serves on the Board of Directors of Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired (CCVI) in Kansas City, MO. He holds a BA in Sociology from Yale University and an MBA in finance and accounting from the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business, where he is actively pursuing a Distinguished Leader Executive Certificate.
