Robert Berkley Jr., president and chief executive officer of W. R. Berkley Corporation (WRBC), and John C. (Jack) Roche, president and CEO of The Hanover Insurance Group, as chair and vice chair, respectively, of the organization’s Board of Trustees.

Rob joined Berkley in 1997, after serving as an investment banker for Merrill Lynch and Co. His extensive tenure at Berkley includes roles as President and Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President, and Vice President of strategy and acquisitions. Rob also serves on numerous prestigious boards, including for St. John’s University Maurice R. Greenberg School of Risk Management, Insurance, and Actuarial Science.

He has more than 30 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance sector, including as president of Hanover Agency Markets, where he was responsible for The Hanover’s personal and commercial lines of business, and in senior management roles at the St. Paul Travelers Cos. Jack also serves on several boards including the board for St John’s University Maurice R. Greenberg School of Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science.
