Serio Launches “The Cure to Recidivism”, Empowering His Fans, Listeners, and Readers To Become the Best Versions of Themselves

By: Get News
Jonathán Pérez, famously known as Serio is a Mexican-American rapper. After reaching international renown with four studio albums and DVDs, Serio launched his first book titled “The Cure To Recidivism”, which is now available on Amazon, Apple Books, Bares And Noble, and his official website.

The United States is having an uphill battle against recidivism. Bureau of Justice Statistics report from 2018 indicates that state prisoners released between 2005 and 2018 have been arrested at least five times on average.

Serio, a widely beloved rap artist known for his unapologetic and unique style, has also been incarcerated at one point, but he followed a strict code that helped him not fall into recidivism once.

Knowing that innumerable convicts were not so lucky, Serio decided to create and publish a book that would underscore his “formula” for curing recidivism.

He noted that many convicts become repeat offenders because they feel unmotivated and crushed by institutionalization. Serio’s “The Cure To Recividism” is a self-help book that highlights the positive sides that many convicted prisoners seem to forget, the most important being freedom.

Serio has been a rap artist for decades, and his private life has been all but slow and comfortable. He lost friends to needless violence and relocated from his hometown to avoid the insecurity and negative influences that loomed about. With more than enough personal stories and experiences, Serio picked up a pen and decided to share his story and the ultimate solution to avoid the trap of recidivism, stating:

“After years of professional experience and reflection, I’ve long considered the elements that have helped me successfully avoid the trap of recidivism. This book is my way of helping others avoid returning to a life of incarceration,” Serio said.

The Cure To Recidivism” is a book for anyone and everyone. Besides convicted prisoners and people working in correctional institutions, Serio wanted to also help people who have fallen on hard times, individuals who are prone to bad decisions, and anyone who wants to develop healthier habits for a more successful future.

Serio’s latest book is a must-read for recently released convicts. His unique formula describes the harsh truths of institutionalization in painstaking detail, as well as how to retain humanity and optimism in such a depressing environment.

“Many people in corrections on the other side of the bars are aware of the concept of institutionalization. The Cure to Recidivism is my master formula that I designed to help people avoid the traps leading to reoffending. Whether you are a current or former inmate or somebody who works within the correctional system, this book and the master formula it contains will help anyone easily avoid the institutionalized trap that is recidivism,” Serio continued.

Serio’s “The Cure To Recidivism” is now available on Barnes And Noble, Amazon, Apple Books, and the artist’s official website.
