High-Profile Candidates, Political Action Groups Adopt Vloggi for Video Advocacy Campaigns

By: Get News
As video advocacy shapes up to be the biggest trend in political campaigning this year, at least two of the five US presidential campaigns have adopted Vloggi, a tool for supporter-sourced video advocacy, to elevate their digital marketing campaigns and gather video testimonials from grassroots supporters.

As the election year continues to heat up in the US, Vloggi has fueled a transformative shift in political campaigning by giving high-profile candidates and political action groups a vital tool for supporter-sourced video advocacy, allowing them to amplify grassroots supporter voices.

"We've seen an unprecedented uptake of video advocacy in the US this election year, says Justin Wastnage, CEO & Founder of Vloggi. According to him, harnessing the persuasive power of voter videos from grassroots supporters and individuals has been a game-changer in the US politics landscape.

"In order to create meme-worthy social media ads, political campaigns need a UGC video library created by voters," explains" Justin Wastnage.

Vloggi features a user-friendly platform that simplifies video gathering from any device, ensuring accessibility for all, regardless of technical expertise. It allows users to capture and curate their experiences, amplifying voices and sparking conversations.

At present, two of the five US presidential campaigns are using Vloggi to gather video testimonials from grassroots supporters for their campaigns. In addition, Wastnage says more than a dozen unions and political action committees are using the tool.

"Video submissions are now driving meaningful engagement," notes Wastnage, who clarified that Vloggi comprises team members from all sides of the political spectrum.

"We're agnostic, with groups from both sides of politics as well as independents adopting video advocacy to both gather and then promote the grassroots supporters' views," adds Wastnage.

Vloggi allows political campaigns to send one link and gather thousands of video replies. It enables campaigns to send video questionnaires and link surveys. The tool also allows campaigns to discover the location, and thus, the congressional district, of all respondents.

In addition, Vloggi allows respondents to upload or record videos from any device. It guarantees ownership of all the clips belongs to the campaign team, through a digital content assignment form.

Outside the US, Vloggi has seen prominent Canadian politicians using video advocacy, while a former UK Prime Minister has used Vloggi to supercharge their election campaigns. In Australia, the Green Party has also tapped into Vloggi's platform to take its digital marketing a step further.
