With a combined 25+ years of experience, the legal experts at Armstrong Lee & Baker LLP yield a 98% success rate in obtaining recoveries for clients.

In a recently published study titled “Most Dangerous Highways in the U.S.”, the Armstrong Lee & Baker LLP team tackles the growing incidence of fatalities occurring on highways across the nation. The data was analyzed and compiled by Joshua Lee, who utilized the highest standards of research and editorial practices to create the final demographics. According to this new study, large trucks are a primary factor. In 2022, 5,837 large trucks were involved in fatal crashes, and this trend marked an uptick in such incidents since the previous year. According to the data compiled by the Armstrong Lee & Baker LLP team, large trucks were involved in 6% of all fatal crashes.

The data gathered for the study was compiled from an analysis on the interstate systems over the four year period from 2016-2019. The data reflects harmful events such as embankments, motor vehicles being transported, overturn, trees, pedestrians, ditches, parked motor vehicles, concrete barriers, and more. The results were listed by deaths per mile of highway. Interstate 4 was the deadliest interstate of all, with the deadliest city on the highway being Orlando, Florida. There were 150 fatalities in the four year period, with the most deaths occuring in the month of March. Sundays were the deadliest day of the week for Interstate 4, and the most common first harmful events were motor vehicles in transport, overturns, and pedestrians.

Rounding out the top five deadliest highways across the United States were Interstate 45, Highway 192, Interstate 17, and Highway 92. The full study can be found now at https://albtriallawyers.com/most-dangerous-highways-in-the-u-s/.
