With the expansion of the interfaith Ocean Library, Sacred Traditions is providing users with more opportunities to study and explore the teachings of the 'Baha’i Faith', including the major doctrinal works. The literature has been translated into English and can be experienced using the Ocean 2.0 Reader’s immersive reading software.

Founded in the mid-19th Century, the 'Baha’i Faith' is a religion whose beliefs are rooted in the oneness of God and religion, and the unity of humanity. Thanks, in part, to its staunch rejection of racism, sexism, and nationalism, it has grown to almost 8 million adherents worldwide. The religion relies extensively on its literature, namely the canonical texts of The Bab, Baha’u’llah, and Abdu’l-Baha—the three “Central Figures” of the 'Baha’i Faith'.
While there is no definitive book like the Bible or Qur’an in the 'Baha’i Faith', the Ocean Library does have over 60 different 'Baha’i' books varying in style, substance, and subject matter. A few of the books included are 'The Hidden Words', a quasi-introduction to the 'Baha’i Faith' written by Baha’u’llah, and 'Some Answered Questions', a compilation of table talks given by Abdu’l-Baha. There are also numerous books by Shoghi Effendi, The Guardian of the 'Baha’i Faith'.
Users have the option to install the Ocean 2.0 Reader on their smartphone, tablet, or computer. Doing so grants access to any of the hundreds of interfaith books included on the platform.
Many of the books are narrated by gifted voice-over artists and carefully aligned so the speech matches the text word-for-word. This immersive reading option is intended to make the experience more enjoyable, improve engagement, and increase retention of the subject matter.
