Xiongan, China--(Newsfile Corp. - July 15, 2024) - On July 8th, The 5th Goldreed Industrial Design Award hosted by the Goldreed Industrial Design Award Committee closed its call for entries. Ultimately, the 5th Goldreed Industrial Design Award received a total of 7,106 design entries from 70 countries and regions worldwide.

Since the moment when the fifth Goldreed Industrial Design Award call for entries was launched, excellent entries have flooded in, with the official website receiving over 210,000 visits. Ultimately, the 5th Goldreed Industrial Design Award received a total of 7,106 design entries from 70 countries and regions worldwide. Of these, there were 6,250 entries from within China, accounting for approximately 87.96%, and 856 entries from overseas, accounting for approximately 12.04%. This marks a slight increase of 0.26% compared to previous years.

In this year, the number of participating countries in the GIDA continued to increase, with the addition of Luxembourg, Tunisia, Venezuela, Uruguay, and Yemen, totaling five new countries. With these additions, the GIDA now covers a total of 87 countries and regions for participation.

Different types of overseas participants have shown great enthusiasm. The 5th GIDA attracted a number of top international universities and design organizations to participate, continually enriching and elevating the level of participants in the Goldreed Industrial Design Award.
The latest progress
The preliminary evaluation session for the 5th Goldreed Industrial Design Award was held on July 10th and the results of the preliminary evaluation will be announced on the Goldreed Industrial Design Award official website on July 20th. Please stay tuned for updates.
