(Matthew Du, NewsUSA Reporter) - IPhone users across Atlanta and major cities in the U.S. continue to struggle due to AT&T’s outage, including Houston, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and Dallas. Several reports state that AT&T phones appear stuck in SOS mode, implying that although the device cannot connect to any network, emergency calls can still be made. The use of Wi-Fi-based calls is what’s mainly suggested as an interim solution.
Issues have also been reported by T-Mobile, Verizon, and Boost Mobile users, however to a significantly lesser degree of only 4,000, 1,800, and 700 outages, respectively. As disruptions persist, Atlantans and users nationwide navigate connectivity hurdles amid ongoing service restoration efforts.
