Wildfires Ignite Philanthropic Gesture from Non-Profit Training Center, Offering Scholarship Aid To Those Affected

Founder of Marketing Education Academy Announces Scholarship disaster aid for Wildfire-Impacted Businesses. Calls on Other Business Leaders To Help Impacted Entrepreneurs.

Los Angeles, United States - August 25, 2021 /MarketersMedia/

Marketing Education Academy, a non-profit online training center, announces a new scholarship program to aid in the recovery of wildfire-impacted business owners and their staff.

The Academy will award up to 1000 fully-paid enrollments in its Digital Marketing Certificate program, with the next training cycle starting on September 30, 2021.

Academy Founder, Benny Traub, a former resident of Los Angeles County, says, “In my years living in California, I could often see the fires from my home, but never suffered personal loss. I can’t imagine what my former neighbors are going through in this present catastrophe. The scholarship’s purpose is to equip business owners or their marketing directors with strategic skills for recovering. When so many are hurting in our communities, we all must do everything we can to help, as it impacts all of us. Every one of us has something we can do, something we can offer. When I talked to my team at Marketing Education Academy, every single staff member and student was on board. We’re really happy that we have the opportunity to extend a helping hand to local small businesses so they can get back on track.”

A Certificate in Digital Marketing can be earned in just six weeks, with just one weekly lecture and a total commitment of just 5-6 hours per week.

Traub and this initiative are featured in an upcoming article in Authority Magazine and Thrive Global’s high profile SOCIAL IMPACT HEROES series and he hopes that other business leaders will do what they can to help entrepreneurs across the region get back on their feet.

This is intended aid-without-strings. There are no costs whatsoever for those who are awarded scholarships. Traub points out that the onus is on everyone to ‘be the change’ they would like to see in the world. “It’s at times like this that we are called to step up and be active. We are all stronger together.”

Business owners and members of their marketing team who are located within 50 miles of a wildfire-impacted region in Western United States are eligible. Small business owners impacted by the wildfires can apply here: https://marketingeducation.org/scholarships/wildfires/
