Search Continues For More Unmarked Graves at Canadian Indian Residential Schools

By: PRLog

The search continues at former indian residential and industrial schools in Canada. With former schools being located in every part of the country, it is expected that the search will continue for years while it is currently expected that over 10,000 unmarked graves will be located.

TORONTO - Aug. 28, 2021 - PRLog -- Unmarked graves are being located across Canada related to a long and dark history of indian residential and industrial schools. At these schools, children were neglected, physically, emotionally and sexually abused, forced into labour and work duties among other atrocities.

Children died while under the care of the federal government and the various churches who controlled and ran these institutions of horror. While unmarked graves are being located and investigated now, the indigenous people of Canada have been trying to have their voices heard for generations to no avail. While children died in these dark places, others lost their lives while trying to escape.

The time is now for the indigenous people of Canada to have a voice and ensure that these voices are heard loud and clear. No person should rest until these former school grounds are completely searched and everybody is identified. The families and communities who were victims of this Canadian Genocide deserve answers. The Documentary "CANADA'S BURIED SECRETS" will be travelling the entire country and filming all former school properties, interviewing victims, families of victims and community leaders to gain access to the truth that has been hidden and ignored for too long. ProPics Canada Media will also explore archived documents, images and other sources of data to share in the full length documentary. In giving the people a platform to share their truth, it is the goal to help in the healing and reconciliation for everyone.

You can help with this project by a simple donation online via the GoFundMe campaign just launched. We hope to see a record response in this project to ensure that the story is told and pressure is kept on the people who need to answer for these atrocities.
