PHOENIX - Dec. 1, 2021 - PRLog -- Cummings Graduate Institute for Behavioral Health Studies (CGI) was recently awarded the 2021 Native American Partnership Fund and Native American Community Activities and Contributions Grants by Freeport-McMoRan's Native American Affairs Program. The funded project is in partnership with the San Carlos Apache Wellness Center, of San Carlos, Arizona. Through the collaborative project, Cummings Graduate Institute and the San Carlos Apache Wellness Center will provide increased workforce training for mental health providers and crisis intervention specialists within the San Carlos Apache Tribe and implement a strategic digital outreach plan to disseminate information and resources on mental health topics across the San Carlos Apache community.
