The "Club New York Mama" project is over three years old. During this time it has successfully helped Russian-speaking migrant families in New York and New Jersey to unite, get to know each other, and exchange helpful information. There are more than 15 thousand people in our community. Their community is divided into online and offline spaces
Online, Facebook and Instagram accounts everyone can ask for advice about their situation, they publish articles about useful people (doctors, lawyers, accountants, teachers, etc.), conduct drawings, do joint broadcasts with specialists and professionals, and share information about interesting places where the whole family can go Offline. They meet for workshops, sports, psychological training, and conduct classes for children. In their Club, one can find live reviews of useful places in Russian-speaking New York - kindergartens, schools, children's educational institutions, children's development centers, stores, beauty salons, medical offices, gyms, swimming pools, etc. All information in the Facebook group is structured by hashtags and albums, allowing new families to quickly navigate and find the information they are looking for.
Every Club member can initiate a meeting - just announce the place and time of the meeting in anyone's area and the right people will respond. The Club NY Mama has branched out into other communities, such as the Book Club, Aroma Club, and Psychology Lover's Club, which hold their own separate meetings.
Every quarter, the Club publishes a Post-Dating and Post-Networking where everyone can show up, talk about themselves and find new friends and clients. The creator of the New York Moms Club is Viktoriia Negmetova, a certified psychologist and certified coach, mother of three sons, conducts personal therapeutic consultations, transformational games and psychological quests, is a guest expert on the radio, holds supportive live shows and blogs on Instagram about life in America.
In the club, they have the rubric #kmn_cleanplanet and #kmn_cleanbrooklyn, in which they popularize minimalism, the call to keep the city clean, sort the trash, and give up plastic and keep the planet as clean as possible. Once there was a trash collection at West Playground.
The community continues to grow, the group's stats are positive, the RVs and engagement are top-notch, and over 100 people are added to the community every week.
In December 2019, what they do at the Club was evaluated at the city level. Russian Advertising Media Awards gave them an award in the "Oh Moms" category for their contribution to Brooklyn.
