FRIDLEY, Minn. - September 7, 2022 - (Newswire.com)

Stanton Berg, who enlisted in the Counterintelligence Corps and held a career in forensic science for over five decades, has completed his new book, "Marsha's Poetic Expressions of June's and Stan's Love and Life and Alzheimer's": a stirring compilation of poems that explore the stages of losing a loved one after building an entire life with them, written by Berg's dear friend Marsha, and collected for publication by the author.

"[I] first met Marsha several years ago when [I] published a special tribute to the caregivers around the world," writes Berg. "Marsha read [my] tribute and also [my] reference to caregiving being God's hands here on earth.

"Marsha, who lives in Texas and was once a schoolteacher there and a lady with great poetic abilities, had a father who came down with Alzheimer's. [I] tried to assist Marsha with advice in the care of her father.

"Marsha, early on in [our] friendship, wrote two poems relating to caregiving and her father's Alzheimer's: 'In Heaven, He Remembers' and 'His Hands.' Being the prolific and excellent poet/poem writer that Marsha was, [I] set up a page on June's Alzheimer's website to collect and publish Marsha's many poems. It is these many poems that now make up this book."

Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Stanton Berg's new book will provide comfort to those with loved ones who have passed from or are currently suffering with Alzheimer's. In a difficult time where one can feel isolated, Berg's collection is aimed at helping readers understand they are not alone in their struggles.
