Federal jury awards ex-Tesla worker Owen Diaz $3.2M, far less than he previously was offered

A former elevator operator at Tesla Inc. who sued the company over allegations of racial harassment should get about $3.2 million in damages from the electric automaker, a jury decided Monday — far less than he hoped to be awarded.
