Lakeside Union School District is offering great learning opportunities and support for students in the 2020-2021 school year. As educators and pupils face unknown and unclear challenges, the district is attempting to help support both groups in any way possible.
With set cleaning and safety procedures, this district is taking all of the necessary steps to ensure students and teachers feel safe in whatever learning environment they are in, in the classroom or at home. The district has consistently asked staff and teachers for feedback to make sure that both groups are receiving the support that they need.
Besides emotional and educational support, Lakeside Union School District is also assisting students by providing a free brunch to every student during the days they are at school for Hybrid learning. Families and students in the district can also pick up free take-out breakfasts and lunches from the district office every morning from 6:45 a.m.-8:30 a.m for any child ages 2-18. No pin is required at school to get the free brunch, and no child needs to be in the vehicle in order to pick up meals from the district office.
